Airport Parking
Patrick Leahy Burlington International Airport (BTV) offers both short and long term parking in our multi-level, covered parking garage. Access the Parking Garage from the Airport entrance road. The terminal is on the right and the garage is on the left, after the taxi stand. Credit cards and cash are acceptable payment methods at in-terminal kiosks, while the payment method of credit cards is acceptable at all garage exits. Why Park at BTV? Safe secure parking steps from the terminal.
- The onsite airport parking garage offers covered secure parking steps from the terminal.
- Two crosswalks on Ground Level and two walkways on Level 2 connect the Garage to the Terminal.
Parking rates:
- $1.00 for the 1st hour
- $2.00 per hour for the next three (3) hours
- Daily Rate of $12.00 after four (4) hours
**The airport reserves the right to change parking rates without notice. Please observe the posted rates at the garage entrance for any changes not yet reflected above.
**All persons with a Handicap Parking Permit are entitled to one (1) day of parking at no cost. Parking after the initial 24 hours will be charged at the posted rate.

FAQ
I lost my parking ticket, what should I do?
Travelers who have lost their parking ticket should call the Airport Ambassador team for assistance when exiting at (802) 578-3125. They will be able to generate a manual ticket on your behalf.
During holidays, will I be guaranteed a parking spot?
Yes, parking is provided for all passengers 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Please follow the signs and the directions of the parking staff. The airport parking garage has 5 levels in total, levels 4 and 5 have space available year round.
Where should I park when dropping off or picking up passengers?
Passengers may be picked up and dropped off curbside. However, curbside vehicles cannot be left unattended. The curbside should only be used for immediate pick-ups and drop-offs. Visitors meeting passengers inside are encouraged to park in the BTV onsite garage, at just $1 for the first hour. Walkways at the ground level and from the Level 2 elevator lobby provide access to and from the terminal. Another option is the free Cell Phone Lot. Click here to view map. Simply wait in your vehicle and ask your passenger to call or text you when they claim their luggage, then drive to the terminal's curbside (Arrivals/Baggage Claim) to pick up your passenger.
How Do I Pay for Airport Parking?
Travelers pay when exiting the parking facility with credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express are accepted. To pay with credit card, you may leave your ticket in your vehicle. At the garage exit kiosk, please scan your barcoded ticket and insert credit card payment. At the completion of the transaction, if a receipt is needed please press the “receipt” button.
To pay with cash please take your ticket with you into the terminal - do not leave the ticket in your vehicle. Upon the completetion of your stay or upon your return, please scan your ticket at one of four (4) pay-on-foot kiosks throughout the airport. On the second floor of the airport a kiosk is located outside each terminal side skybridge. On the first floor of the airport one kiosk is located in baggage claim and the other is located next to the airlines counter. At these kiosks, please scan your barcoded ticket and insert cash payment. At the completion of the transaction, if a receipt is needed please press the “receipt” button. At the garage exit, scan the entry ticket barcode or receipt barcode for exit.
BTV Airport does not currently offer pre-paid parking.

Snap a picture of the parking level and row number. If you have returned to BTV, but can’t remember where you parked, please call (802) 578-3125.
TIPS
PARKING FOR OVERSIZED VEHICLES - 7'+ HEIGHT - SURFACE LOT PARKING
Oversized vehicles should follow signs to the Lot A surface lot from the main terminal. Vehicle height is limited to seven (7) feet high vehicles entering the garage. Any vehicle over this limit must park at Lot A. Turn left after exiting the Terminal road onto Airport Drive, then take your first left into Lot A. EV CHARGING STATIONS
Patrick Leahy Burlington International Airport (BTV) has free EV charging stations on the first level of the parking garage. Please look for the signs and stations as you enter the garage. Thank you to our friends at Tesla for making this happen!
Extended Parking
Vehicles may be left in BTV’s parking facility for up to 30 days without notifying parking staff. If you must leave a vehicle for more than 30 days, please make advance arrangements at (802) 863-2874, ext. 201. Parking is provided on a first-come, first-served basis. All BTV parking facilities are well-lit and patrolled regularly. At this time, parking reservations are not offered. However, even during the busiest of days, parking is available for all travelers.

Employee Parking Permits are issued at the start of employment and are renewed every year beginning October 1st through October 15th.
- Employees should submit their completed parking request form to their manager, who will facilitate permit distrubution with BTV Administration.
